 New features

  • Chore or task execution
    • Baby will retrieve or deliver objects from/to arbitrary locations if compliance and energy are at nominal levels.
    • Baby will also make use of developed linguistic skills to carry out request if help is needed.
  • Extended calisthenic exercise
    • Baby can now run up to 100m, or 30 circles around the center of the house without stopping. Bear in mind baby is easily distracted by greeting everyone on each cycle and may take wide sweeping turns without looking leading to collisions. Maintain vigilance while engaged in this activity.
    • Baby will sweat and then pass out, but seems to enjoy the activity.
  • Singing
    • Baby now sings, and can cover more than 5 songs. Remixes of various songs may occur, as well as mixed transitions.
  • Self-sufficiency for amusement
    • Baby will now employ various routines to alleviate boredom, automatically.
  • Pretending
    • Baby will engage in pretending various familiar scenarios, including mountain climbing, shark attack, airplane, finding shelter from rain, and exchanging of currency for goods or shopping.
    • In many cases, a pretend activity requires some kind of equipment which the pretend shopping may provide leading to inclusion of acquisition as part of the pretend.
  • Sequence recitation (out of beta!)
    • Baby is now able to recite complete alphanumeric sequences with ease and a 90% accuracy.
Other stat adjustments
  • Throw distance is increased 5% and accuracy 12%
  • Baby hug rate is increased 25%
Early release features
  • Automatic cleanup
    • Our developers are very excited by the prospect of an automatic cleanup routine. Of course we're trying to build our system with a standard API, using the Cleanup song as the method for sequence initiation.
  • Improved waste disposal process
    • Our developers have begun the planning process for an automatic baby waste handling and disposal process.
    • The development process carries some inherent risk of damage to upholstery and other facilities, which will be mitigated as much as possible. 
  • Conversation
    • With the deployment of the newly developed linguistic capabilities baby may now engage in a multi-volley, interactive conversation.
    • This system is very new, but has promising initial performance.
  • Improve pronunciation mode
    • Baby now includes a field activatable mode for improving pronunciation. Simply repeat the word you wish to improve after usage, at a rate of 1.5syl/s with clear consonant delivery and baby will enter a special focus mode and repeat word back for improvements in pronunciational accuracy.
Current known bugs
  • Baby energy will become highly unstable with the introduction of  high-energy fuel sources such as refined glucose or fructose.
    • WARNING: introduction of these substances to the baby fuel cycle may result in: zoomies, hilariously cute behavior, and exuberance followed by irritability, crying, demands for more high-energy fuel, violence, and a generally destructive nature.
    • WARNING: introduction of such substances is at the risk and responsibility of the introducer.
    • CAUTION: implied delivery, visual, verbal, or otherwise may also induce the effects listed above. Use caution when even attempting to communicate about high-energy fuel sources.
  • Immune system
    • Baby's immune system is still under development, as a result, service interruptions in core baby functionality may be impaired, and due to the Daycare accords baby must remain quarantined until symptoms are alleviated.
    • Core functionality that may be impaired includes, energy production and utilization, waste processing, nasal mucosal solidification, and breathing without coughing.

Wow release 22.4, feels like time is sprinting by. This update is primarily to pave the way for future module installations and activations for natural language processing (NLP) and advanced intention execution (aka willfulness). As a result of this preparation work and the transitory nature of this release, it's not exactly our most stable version. We're sort of... testing in production. Major highlights: Stacking will continue to be a number one pastime, baby will now utilize increased strength and balancing skills to stack higher and with more massive objects. Note preliminary integration tests have shown that toes and other extremities are at risk of moderate damage as a result of this feature. Use caution! Known Bugs High-chair compatibility: due to an upstream dependency issue this behavior is broken with Stokke high-chairs with no timeline for being addressed. Other high-chairs may work for a limited amount of time, but we don't recommend deploying such arrangements to production. Face smacking: Baby may now occasionally absolutely mess up your face for no reason other than prolonged eye-contact. Baby will attempt to recite the alphabet but get stuck on the letter C, often preferring to repeat C until G, then T U V. All letters will be identified as "letters" or just "C." Baby will make requests for changes in elevation using the command "up, down." Baby does not distinguish which direction it wants to go (up or down), instead using the command as a toggle.
